Bio

Professor Kuhnle is a Co-opted Member to the Committee's PFAS Subgroup and Joint SACN/COT Working Group on plant-based drinks. Prof Kuhnle was co-opted after his term on the committee expired on 31st March 2025.

Gunter is Professor of Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Reading. His research interest is the development of objective measures of exposure and dietary intake using a range of different analytical techniques. Further interests are the link between diet and health, in particular the health effect of polyphenols and the link between meat and cancer.
