Position papers and statements are the final outputs of the Committee and are finalised and agreed by the Committee as a whole. The statements and position papers are listed alphabetically or by year of publication.
Discussion papers are prepared for the Committee to discuss by the Secretariat. These are papers for discussion, do not reflect the final views of the Committee and should not be cited and are marked accordingly. They are attached to meeting agendas. The discussion papers will often include draft versions of the statements and position papers for the Committee to consider, but these will be marked as “draft”.
COT assurance is where the Committee have assured a risk assessment produced by the FSA. These are listed separately.
