Bio

Dr Sarah Judge was appointed to the Committee on 1 April 2017. She leads preclinical research studies on the neurotoxicological and neuropharmacological effects and mechanisms of action of environmental chemicals, and therapeutic and recreational drugs.  Current studies include investigations into the effects of low levels of pesticides and the mechanism of action of synthetic cannabinoids.
She lectures in neurotoxicology and neurotoxicology and is a reviewer for the journals Neurotoxicity Research, Toxicological Sciences, Neurotoxicology and Teratology, Neuropharmacology, Neuropsychopharmacology and Behavioural Brain Research.  Dr Judge is also a member of the British Toxicology Society Scientific sub-committee and British Toxicology Society ambassador.

Dr Judge's appointment as a member of the COT expires on 31st March 2024.
