Bio

Ms Jane Case was appointed to the  Committee on 1 April 2017 as a Public Interest Representative. Between 1992 and 2011 Ms Case practised as a solicitor, in Swansea and then London, and latterly as a partner in a commercial law firm. She specialised in contentious and non-contentious construction law and commercial litigation.  Her legal career has given her experience of dealing with complex technical matters and required the ability to organise and assimilate large amounts of information. Because of a strong family history of allergies she has a particular interest in this issue. She sees her role on the committee as representing the interests of the general public and helping the committee to understand the impact of its recommendations upon people’s lives.

Ms Case's appointment as a member of the COT expires on 31st March 2024.
