4. Verbal update on FSA funded project T01054. Determination of the symptoms of aspartame in subjects who have reported symptoms in the past compared to controls: a pilot double blind placebo crossover study. (RESERVED BUSINESS)

The Committee will be asked to comment on the unpublished results of the study which are being submitted for publication. TOX/2013/26

5. Final draft report on FSA funded project (T01057). A possible blind placebo controlled parallel trial of soy phytoestrogens in patients with compensated hypogonadism

6. Waste And Resources Action Programme (WRAP)
The Committee has previously discussed draft risk assessments carried out under the Waste And Resources Action Programme (WRAP) Confidence in Compost Programme and asked to see the final versions of the reports before agreeing conclusions. The revised versions are now available together with reports of additional work. The Committee will be asked to comment on the reports within its remit. TOX/2013/25

7. Second draft statement on endosulfan isomers, pentachlorobenzene and chlordecone in relation to infant diet
In contribution to the Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition (SACN) review of UK Government recommendations on complementary and young child feeding, the COT is considering potential risks from endosulfan isomers, pentachlorobenzene and chlordecone in the infant diet. The Committee is asked to comment on the text of the second draft statement.

8. Third draft statement on the potential risks from lead in the infant diet
In contribution to the SACN review of UK Government recommendations on complementary and young child feeding, the COT is considering potential risks from lead in the infant diet. The Committee is asked to comment on a fourth draft statement. TOX/2013/29

9. Fourth draft statement on the potential risks from high levels of vitamin A in infant diet
In contribution to the SACN review of UK Government recommendations on complementary and young child feeding, the COT is considering potential risks from high levels of vitamin A in the infant diet. The Committee is asked to comment on a fourth draft statement. TOX/2013/30

10. Potassium salt replacers in vulnerable groups
SACN is considering the current recommendations on potassium-based salt replacers and have asked the COT to comment on the risk aspects. Members are asked to consider the possibility of adverse effects on the kidney that might arise in vulnerable groups from increased exposure to dietary potassium. TOX/2013/31
