4.  Potential future discussion items – horizon scanning. COT members have agreed that it would be useful to have an annual agenda item to discuss potential future topics. This paper lists ongoing and planned topics of discussion and invites members to give their opinions on emerging toxicological issues that may be of relevance to public health or to Committee working procedures, which could be included in the Committee’s programme of work in 2016  TOX/2016/01

5.  Third draft statement on the role of hydrolysed cow's milk formulae in influencing the development of atopic outcomes and autoimmune disease. This draft COT statement summarises the available information and the Committee’s provisional conclusions.  RESERVED BUSINESS  TOX/2016/04

6.  Review of risks arising from the infant diet and the development of atopic and autoimmune disease: Systematic review C Part II – Dietary Exposures during Pregnancy, Lactation and/or Infancy for Reducing Risk of Allergic or Autoimmune Outcomes: a systematic review and meta-analysis. The committee will discuss the findings from this FSA-funded project. RESERVED BUSINESS  TOX/2016/02

7.  Enquiring About Tolerance (EAT) Study- A randomized trial of the early introduction of allergenic foods in breastfed infants. The Committee will discuss the findings from this FSA-funded study.  RESERVED BUSINESS TOX/2016/03

8.  Review of potential risks from arsenic in the diet of infants aged 0 to 12 months and children aged 1 to 5 years. This is part of ongoing work in which the COT are reviewing the risks of toxicity from chemicals in the diets of infants and young children. TOX/2016/05

9.   First draft addendum to the 2013 COT statement on potential risks from lead in the infant diet. This draft COT statement summarises the available information and the Committee’s provisional conclusions. TOX/2016/07

10.  Paper for information: FSA Scientific Advisory Committees (SACs) update TOX/2016/08
